I'm Coach Chuck, and am excited to return to Valor this year as the 18U Head Coach. I’ve been coaching for decades and hold my NCCP Advanced Development certification. Over the years, I’ve led teams to medals at the provincial and national level, including coaching Edmonton’s 15U squad to an undefeated gold at the Alberta Winter Games. I'm all about team culture and building champions, both on and off the court. I’m looking forward to guiding this great group of athletes to new successes this season!
I’ve been coaching for several years—five years of junior high, three years of club, and two years of senior varsity. I’ve also coached numerous summer camps, and had the experience of taking a travel team to the UK. I played all through high school and club, plus a year at Concordia University. I’m a power engineer and coach almost year‑round. Volleyball and sports are my passion, and I also love learning from great coaches. I’m eager to continue working with this team this season.
Hey, I'm Coach Brett. I’m a graduate of Salisbury Composite High School where I played as a setter for the Sabres and Park Volleyball Club from 2000–2006, winning multiple championships at the highest levels. I chose a collegiate golf scholarship over volleyball after high school, but my passion for the game never left. For nearly 20 years I’ve coached both boys and girls at all levels, and I continue to enjoy giving back to the sport.
I was a setter and captain in high school, also playing club for Rustlers. I’ve been a head coach for my school’s junior varsity team for two seasons, and was an Assistant Coach for Valor's 14UM and 16UM teams last season. I currently am in a full-time post-secondary program, and love to play golf in my free time. I'm really looking forward to working under Coach Chuck and supporting this team this season!
Hi! I'm Coach Caelin. This will be my fifth club season and seventh school season coaching. I played as an outside hitter from Grade 7 through 12 in both school and club. I’m a high school teacher at Beaumont Composite, a show jumper with my horse, an avid reader, and I value family and friends above everything else! I’m looking forward to another exciting season with our team.
Hey, I'm Coach Kaycee. I was a multi-sport athlete growing up, but volleyball was always my favourite. I played setter throughout junior and senior high school. After university, I coached JV girls volleyball for three years, and this is now my fourth club season. I'm a teacher and am currently working toward my Master’s in Athletic Administration. I’ve also competed in rodeo barrel racing with my horse, Viper! I’m excited to continue growing with our athletes and seeing them succeed.
