Hi, I'm Danica. I’ve coached grade 8 boys’ volleyball for the past three seasons at my school, and for the last two years, I was the Head Coach for Valor’s 15U and 16U Boys teams. Coaching has been a very rewarding experience for me, and I’m excited to keep building with Valor's athletes this year. I’m a Grade 8 Teacher, French is my first language, and I recently got married this summer! My mom is one of Valor’s biggest supporters (nicknamed the "Official Volleyball Grandma") and often comes to tournaments to support the team. I’m eager to keep building on what we achieved last year!
Hey, my name is Cedric. I'm a recent grad and competitive athlete-turned coach. I played my first two seasons with Park Elite, where I earned a provincial all‑star award and banner, then moved over to NAVC where I was team captain and Libero, finishing 11th in Canada. I love playing video games, hanging out with friends, and spending time with family. I’m really looking forward to coaching this season, and helping our athletes compete.
My name is Coach Terry. I’ve been coaching volleyball since 2000, mostly at the junior high level, and have taken on roles at the club level too, including Assistant Coach for FOG 18UW in 2024, and Head Coach for Valor 14UW in 2025. In university, I was a U of A Panda, competing as a high-level track and field athlete. I’m a PE and science teacher, a mom of two, and I love being outdoors! I’m glad to back with 15U Girls this season, and am looking forward to building on our success from last year.
Hi! I'm Coach Ester. I’ve been playing volleyball for about six years, and for the past three years I’ve been competing at the club level with the STAVC Saints and Nooks. With those teams, we stayed consistently in the top divisions across Alberta. I started coaching last year at Louis St. Laurent, helping the junior high team to a first‑place finish. I’m working toward playing post‑secondary volleyball, hopefully at Humber College, and I love camping, hiking, and spending time outdoors. I’m excited to continue developing my coaching skills and helping our team succeed!
I'm Coach Gavin. I started coaching as an assistant at Vernon Barford Junior High and with the EV Sea Dragons 16UM team in 2024. Last season, I coached Valor 15UM and also helped with the 14UW team. I love combining my playing and coaching background to help athletes with their technique and overall gameplay. Outside of volleyball, I’m a psychology student at the University of Alberta, and my hobbies include cycling, photography, videography, and soccer. I can’t wait to help our players take their skills to the next level!
Hi, my name is Coach Mark. I started playing volleyball at school from U12 and kept playing through adult leagues, including over 10 years in EVA indoor and beach. I still play in Beaumont’s Competitive Volleyball League and am excited to dive into the club coaching scene. I'm also a proud dad to two daughters who also play volleyball, and am looking forward to passing on my knowledge of the game as a coach. Looking forward to a great season!
